I think it may help if I give you more on the children of John Penfold (1809) and Harriet James (1814)... at least then you will know why it gets confusing as they all married into each others families.... generation after generation....

Thanks for giving it a go ...the Penfold married generation after generation into the Orchard/Holland/Hughs/Gess/Richards ...and used the same names ...like Defience, Patience, Soffia, Harriet , Ocean and Charlotte  eeekkkk

Phew.... that has just taken me  nearly 3 hours to read through and make sense of your last postings  :o

I shall now go and take a look...

Interesting that you link up with Matilda, when I had a look at her names I recognised Loveridge and Davis... they settled near where I grew up.

I don't have travellers so it should be interesting.

Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.
