Where do I look for former policeman's records
« on: Tuesday 30 October 07 11:03 GMT (UK) »
Hello, Does anyone know where I can find records of former Policemen or if they are available to view. My GG Uncle was a Police Constable in Ash, Surrey. He served from 1881 - 1911 when he died. He was a serving policeman when he died and from the photos it looks like he recieved a full police and military honours funeral. Would be very grateful if someone could advise me on where to look for records. Many thanks . Caroline
