Jane DYSON born Lockwood/Honley c1804

I have Jane in the 1851, 1861 and 1871 census.  In two she says she was born in Honley and the other she says she was born in Lockwood!

She was born c 1804/5

Did Lockwood have a church at that time?

I guess if she really was born in Honley she might have been baptised in Almondbury. There is no Jane Dyson in the IGI extracted records for Almondbury.

The IGI does have a marriage in 1827 in Almondbury between a Jane DYSON and Joseph WOODHOUSE.

Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

I'm afraid there's no baptism for Jane Dyson in the Almondbury baptisms 1799-1806.

I checked the 1827 marriage entry for Jane and Joseph and it says that they were both from Honley.

I don't know if this is any help, but I've found a baptism in Kirkheaton -

2.4.1804 Jane Dyson baptised , daughter of Abraham & Elizabeth   abode= Heaton.

Kirkheaton is 'next door' to Almondbury. I get very mixed up with these parishes because they seem to mix and match quite a lot!!

Hi,
Joseph Woodhouse & Jane Dyson were my gt gt grandparents. I can't solve the Kockwood/Honley puzzle but I can confirm her date of birth as 22 May 1803. She died 29th March 1879 age 75 at Springfield Dewsbury & was buried at St Paul's Hanging Heaton on 2nd April 1879.
Joseph was born in Honley on 22 Sept 1803 & died on Nov 22 1871 age 68, at Crackenedge Dewsbury. Buried St Paul's Hanging Heaton 25 Nov 1879.
This information is from a memorial card which I have.
