Death question
« on: Saturday 27 October 07 17:18 BST (UK) »

I have a relative that is not in the 1851 census but his wife is classed as a widow, however there is a record in the 1853 death record, but i do not have ay details form it. Could it be the same person as the name and place and approximate time is correct?  (Edward Waddilove St Pancras Sep 1853)

Hi robie, hmmm - I see a Hannah Waddilove widow in St Pancras - it wouldn't be the first time an abandoned wife had called herself a widow.

Can you be sure there were no other Edward Waddilove's (great name btw :D) a cousin or other relative?

If funds allow I'd order a copy of the death certificate.
