Examined of both of the a'said Compl't upon * We the said Justices do hereby Declare & Adjudge the said Henry Spakman & Elizabeth his wife to be poor and that their last legall Settlem't is in Worsley in the said County and we do hereby order the Overseers of the poor of Astley af'sd to remove and Convey them the said Henry Spakman and Elizabeth his wife to Worsley af'sd the Overseers of the poor whereof are hereby required to * and provide for them, according to law Given under our hands and seals at Wigan? this sixth day of December Ano R R s George...........
[the rest appears to be Latin but my guess would be it means something like 'in the * year of the reign of our Sovereign' and as the year given is 1717 it would be King George I.]
