Hi.In a book called street names of old Dundee by Gillian Molloy,   Elizabeth Street originaly a lane off Ann street in 1850 it was extended to North George street in 1920, and later to Alexander street, the part of Elizabeth street between Ann Street and Alexander Street was demolished to make way for the Alexander multi-blocks. Elizabeth Street was closed from Alexander Street for 135 feet 1969 and disapeered completly as a result of further redevelopment of Alexander Street.
