Hi dgabb,

Where was Lillian Wooley born?

I can see the marriage:
June 1898 Stroud 6a 621
Arthur George Woolley to possibly Sarah Jane Nicholls

There is a possible candidate on the 1881 census
http://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=uki1881&indiv=try&h=6271666

but you'd need the marriage certificate to prove he's the one (there are other possibles)

In the 1901 census, I can see:
RG13/2437 6 3.
Bisley, Gloucestershire
High Street

Sarah Jane Woolley, wife, 27, Laundress, own acct at home, b. Bisley
Lilian, dau, 1, b. do.

Are they likely to belong to you?  :)

The nearest match for Arthur I can see is an Arthur Woolley age 21 born Stroud, Mineral Water Traveller, lodging in Fulham London.
