Marriage at that time (1833) won't show parents. witness(es) may give clues when you look at the original parish records.

you'ld be looking to correlate ages and birthplaces as given in later census to baptismal records.

If you look on the familysearch IGI site, theres a marriage for George Maisey and Martha Legg, no date, just 1833, but theres also a message -

"Record extracted from Oxfordshire Marriage Transcripts 1538 - 1837. The indexes do not contain any further information, but the printout may contain names of people who may be brothers, sisters, other relatives......!

So, you could order the film, I think, (never done it myself) to look for other Maiseys/Leggs, which may give further clues.

Alternatively click on the "batch number" on the page showing George and Martha's marriage, then type in "Maisey" or "Legg" in the surname box, and up comes another marriage right at the bottom of the page -

John Maisey and Letitia Legg 1830 Fullbrook

possibly 2 brothers marrying 2 sisters? or cousins? Finding them on the census may give clues to their parents.....

Hi Deborah ...

From the Fulbrook PRs:

23 MAR 1833 -George MAISEY X bach. to Martha LEGG X sp. botp
Witnesses:  Jane DAVIES / Robert WHEELER

No sign of George or Martha's baptisms at Fulbrook (information already sent to you on 22nd October on your "Maisey Family" thread).

Also from the Fulbrook PRs:

31 MAY 1830 - John MAISEY X bach. to Letitia LEGG X sp. botp
Witnesses : John JAMES / Ann LOW

No baptism for John at Fulbrook, but found the following for Letitia (and also a Maria):

08 JUL 1810 - Letitia LEGG, d. Joseph
24 JUN 1810 - Maria LEGG, d. James
