Kerry,

I've got Sarah born Davy Lamp, Kelloe 1859 Dau of John Thomas Turton and Elizabeth Cutts. John Thomas was born 1829 in Brimington, Staveley, Derbyshire and was the son of William born 1790 in Staveley, Derbyshire, Married to Martha Cutts (a different branch of the Cutts family).
I've got the family pegged all the way back from there to the late 1500's or so, so I'm OK in that respect, I was particularly interested in whether you had any photo's of the Turtons in your collection. It's always good to put a face to a name!!

Thanks

Bill

Hi Kerry
I have done a tree for a friend and got him back to John R. Maddison b. 1832 in Durham. He was married to Mary Thacker b.1841 in Ingleby.
We would be very grateful if you can add anything to this.
