Hi Kerry,
Thanks for checking on Platts - do any of your Calverts match my Tom or John?

Just saw your post about Durham miners. We have Race in our tree also.
Margaret Race, my 3xgrandmother married Henry Robson Greener who was killed in the Fair Lady disaster in 1880 at Leycett, Staffordshire. Margaret Race Greener and several of her children emigrated to Australia after her husband was killed.

Margaret Race's parents were GEORGE RACE and ELIZABETH FORSTER or FOSTER.  George's father may have been George Race also and his mother Mary Baister or Barster.

Margaret had at least one brother GEORGE and sisters ISABELLA and JANE

I wondered if you had any information about these ancestors.

Thanks for your time
Regards
