burial index
« on: Saturday 25 December 04 19:08 GMT (UK) »

Hi,

Does anyone have the *new* NBI? Would you mind doing a quick search for Alfred James Surridge?

Thanks,

Kris.

P.S. Christmas day T.V is dreadful!

Don't have the NBI, sorry, but I do agree that TV is unwatchable over the holiday (except for AbFab later tonight).
Godden in East Sussex, mainly Hastings area.
Richards in Lea, Gloucestershire, then London.
Williamson in Leith, Vickers in Nottingham.
Webb in Bildeston and Colchester.
Wesbroom in Kirby le Soken.
Ellington in Harwich.
Park, Palmer, Segar and Peartree in Kersey.

Hi, Kris,
Already had enough of the turkey and trimmings, etc., so as I've recently purchased the NBI Index I looked up your man.  It's divided up into 4 sections: 1538-1760, 1761-1825, 1825-1860 - no mention of him in those.  In the 1861-2003 section there was just one Alfred Surridge, buried 28th April 1865, aged 22, Suffolk, Kedington, St. Peter and St. Paul.
You didn't give a date, I've no idea if he's the one.
Hope he is, though...
Best wishes,
Keith

Hi,

Thanks for the lookup.

My Alfred Surridge died in 1928, so he probably isn't on the NBI yet.

Cheers,

Kris.

Hi
I'm interested in an Alfred Surridge. He married an Ursula May Steer in 1927, in Stepney. Wonder if there is a connection?

Hi,

Mine was married to Eliza Brown, so it's probably not the same one.

Regards,

Kris.
