Following up on last note, Peppards were from Chester in England and Peter Peppard was close with King John, and was a Justiciar Of Ireland circa 1200.
he had been in Johns entorage when John was Prince of Ireland 1285 visit.
His sister Joan de Peppard . in legal docs sometimes Pipard, married William De Angulo, who was Breifly Third Baron Navan. William built Ardee Castle, as that was what the De Angulo did for the De Lacy Clan, mercenaries and Military Engineers. Wliiam, also First Lord of Atherdee(Ardee) and Joan had Gilbert, Roger and Peter and William as sons.
