Hello,
I am interested in the overseas military index which dates back to 1791. Can someone advise where I could view this index (I am in Australia). Or is there someone who has access to it that could look up Joseph KNEVETT (or KNEVITT or KNYVETT). He was born circa 1804 and arrived in Australia October 1829. His whereabouts before arriving in Australia or his birthplace are unknown and I am just wondering if perhaps he was in the armed forces.
