Hi There,
I am not sure whether this info has been sent to you [or someone ele] by me [or someone else] but this is the cemetery link which will show you some early ROSSITER burials at Cranbourne, Vic

http://www.ozgenonline.com/aust_cemeteries/vic/casey/cranbourne.htm

They include Emily BAYNTON Rossiter  1857 - 1883.
and  will give some details on some others for you I think..Helena, Charles, Ellen....

Sue

EDIT  Have amended that link to one that works

Dear all

Please accept my apologies for failing to respond sooner to your very helpful postings.

I had another posting at the same time (for Zillah's brother, Thomas BAYNTON) also in Victoria which had over 25 postings in a day and a half, and I was kept busy responding to all that.

In any case, this whole thread has proven to be extremely helpful, and I now have a much better idea of what happened to this family after they reached Australia.

Thanks so much for all the detective work and the kind suggestions about lines of inquiry.

Kind regards

Philip Candy

Please accept my apologies for the delay in reply; I have been away from home over the Christmas-New Year period, and am only now catching up on the backlog of emails.

Many thanks for this additional information. It has allowed me to find quite a lot more about this family, which appears to have been very early settlers in Victoria and before that in Tasmania.

Thanks a lot for writing to me.

Kind regards

Philip Candy

Hi, Are you still looking for information on the Rossiters as I have quite alot of information that could answer most of the questions and clear up the replies posted last year as some of that information is incorrect. Kind regards, Gayle
