People Researching their roots needed for 'The Paul O'Grady Show'
« on: Monday 15 October 07 12:19 BST (UK) »
Hi,

We are currently looking into doing a short piece on people researching their roots in Scotland.  We need individuals who have just started looking or have already obtained some information but need some expert help.

I would really appreciate if you could get back to me if you are interested.

Regards
Sandra

Hello Sandra, I have been working on my family tree for a number of years but have got to a brick wall where my great grandmother is concerned, her name is Mary Campbell daughter of John Campbell and Jeanie (m.s.)Campbell, I have all the information from her husband and children but nothing much other than a marriage certificate, Searching for her has been very difficult. Thanks Annie

My Garvies are a mess and not too far back with them i can't find the right direction, I could do with help on either or both sides.

Hi Julzy and ScotsbabeAnnie
I get the feeling that they will not be looking for someone who has been researching for years. I think that they will want someone who has just started and is stuck at their grandparents. ::)

I can’t imagine that they will want to spend too much time trying to break down any serious brick walls
