please can  you suggest where to find out any info  on cardiff dock  policemen.   my grandfather and ggrandfather  were both dock  policemen

The address below would probably be a good place to start. If they aren't able to assist they may suggest the authority that would be able to assist you find more details about the Harbour Police.

The South Wales Police may be the right authority so click for their details. As far as I'm aware Harbour Police have the power to arrest people causing trouble on Harbour estates and then have to hold the troublemakers until the local constabulary arrive.
