Hi and thanks for this groups wonderful help.
Think I am getting a bit confused. I am looking for a Caroline Anne Cregoe Shaw not an O'Neill.
It was a possible daughter of John Agnew Shaw and another woman..who had the child who married an O'Neill and that was on this side of the earth..Western Australia in 1911.
Having said that again I really really appreciate any little finds on the rascally John Agnew Shaw who I think managed to have a child with a woman 38 years his junior while still being married. I do not want to ruin his good reputation however - he was listed in a gentleman's magazine in 1863 when he married Caroline Anne Cregoe and I need to prove it is he who got around.
His wife Caroline Shaw died in Victoria in 1935 while he was in Western Australia on his own (he did lie with his very respectable son Robert Gilkinson Cregoe Shaw who was the municipal treasure for the Kalgoorlie Council. John Agnew Shaw was  in Kalgoorlie from 1903 - 1913 where he died and is buried.
Cheers O'Neill

Hi O'Neill,

Came across your previous postings today.  I am wondering whether you are still monitoring this.  If so could you respond please.  I have information from South Australia on James Agnew Eckersley Cregoe  Shaw, born 29.06.1870.

Hi John I am probably too late to get the info from you.
James Agnew Eckersley Cregoe Shaw b 29 jun 1870 @ Kaiapoi
was my Uncle Jim!
I have very little information than that except his death.
So any information would be good.
