Meers - Wisbech
« on: Wednesday 10 October 07 19:59 BST (UK) »
Isaac Meers was a merchant in Wisbech, born aboout 1737 and died 1818.  Can anyone tell me what sort of merchant he was?  He lived in Timber Market.  I would also love to find out the names of his parents, but haven't been able to trace his birth record in Wisbech St Peters.  I think he may have had a brother Ezra.  He married Elizabeth Reddish in 1775 but I wonder if he was previously married as I have found a daughter Lucy who was married in 1800.  Any information about the family would be much appreciated.

Hi

Yes I do have it thank you.  Some of it has been difficult to decipher but it just says merchant as far as I can see,  and only mentions 2 sons.
