I am not sure whether anyone is still on this forum.  My wife is a direct descendant of of John Gregory Jones through his son Alfred Litherland Jones.  I have compiled a fairly extensive version of the family tree from the family archives going back to John Jones of Dyserth who was his grandfather.

JGJ's first wife and mother of all his children was Louisa Williamson who died in 1850, probably in childbirth with his 10th child who was also born and died that year.  Louisa came from the Williamson family who were well known local artists and gave their name to the Wiliamson Gallery in Liverpool.

If anybody is interested, please contact me further.

Hi Wab-PCS,

John Gregory Jones was my Great (x2) grandfather. I descend from his son John Syers Jones.

Very much interested in making contact with you.  Suggest you send me an e-mail.

Cheers, Dunlata
