Llangynwyd Burial
« on: Tuesday 09 October 07 16:25 BST (UK) »
If anyone has access to the burial records for Llangynwyd would they be able to check for a Margaret Davies who died abt 1900-1901 aged abt 64. She was living at 26 Fronwen Terrace, Ogmore Vale, Glamorgan (her husband is Thomas Davies).

Hoping someone can help me
With Regards
Sara

This entry is contained in the Glamorgan Monumental Inscription Index online at:

http://www.familyhistoryonline.net/

Margaret Davies  7 August 1900  St. Cynwyd, Llangynwyd

Frustratingly, no age at death was included in the index but it was the only entry for Llangynwyd in 1900-1901.  Hope it helps.

Had a look through MIs and burials for St Cynwyd. Llangynwyd.
The Margaret listed above died 7 August 1900 and was buried on 10 August 1900. Lived in 1 Llwyndyrus Terrace and was the wife of William Davies.
Couldn't see any others.
Burial listings only go to 1901 but MIs have a wider range - but no other possibles noted.
Are you sure she is buried in Llangynwyd.

Thank you both for checking the burials for me. I'm not 100% sure she is buried there - does anyone have any other ideas as to which other cemeteries I should check - as I say they lived at 26 Fronwen Terrace, Ogmore Vale.

Any ideas would be really appreciated

With Thanks
Sara
