Hi

If the marriage is not on any of the partially transcribed websites -you will need to check for it on the full GRO index which is available at your nearest main library or via an Ancestry subscription

As Sarah was born in Cheshire and their first son was also born Cheshire - it's more likely that's where the marriage took place rather than Westmoreland

This is the 1871 census for them - the image shows Tod

John 29 b Appleby - Yorkshire
Sarah 22 b Cheshire - Bollington
John 3 b Bollington
William 2 mths b Lancashire Halewood

They were living as lodgers with William & Ann Eastman at Gerrards Lane Halewood

The 1861 confirms Sarah's birthyear as 1849 - her parents were William & Ellen

Two possibilities

They never married

They married a long time after 1867 - possibly if John married between 1861-1866 then left his wife in favour of Sarah.  They would have had to wait until she died
