Hi,
No11 Blythswood Square was the headquarters of the Royal Scottish Automobile Club (RSAC) prior to 1926, and until it was sold to Blythswood Developers in 2002.
The building was converted into a 5* hotel which opened in 2009. (See attached ref.

)
The Spa shown on Google maps with the address "11 Blythswood Square" is actually in West Regent Street.

Not a hotel per se in 1970, but it was a Club that had dining and sleeping facilities I understand, so perhaps a visit to the loft should be deferred.
