Hilson/Perrie/McGowan of Larkhall
« on: Thursday 04 October 07 11:45 BST (UK) »
Hi guys,

I have traced numerous Hilson's to Larkhall from around 1880's to 1920's.

They married Perries and McGowans.

I was wondering if anyone had information regarding this line after the 1920's?  Any cemetery burial information regarding these people or any relevant information regarding the individuals listed.

Thanks in advance.

Mark Hilson

Thomas Hilson married Agnes Perrie in 1888 in Larkhall
Their son Thomas married Margaret McGowan in 1921 again in Larkhall
The father died in 1915 in Larkhall.

Hi,
I have quite a lot of information on Perrie from Dalserf/Larkhall, since it's my father's family. But there were many cousins of assorted distance and I don't know the Hilson/McGowan connection. I can trace the Larkhall links back to their apparent origins in Stirlingshire (Larbert).  Let me know if this might be helpful. Regards, Walter Perrie
