Joseph Routledge death at the Sportsman's Inn
« on: Wednesday 03 October 07 20:24 BST (UK) »
Hi
I have an ancestor Joseph Routledge who died on 14 July 1864 at the Sportsman Inn in Brampton.  He was aged 72 and was a stonemason. He died of heart disease. The informant was Alexander Routledge living at Crow Hall, Brampton.
I was wondering if anyone has access to local newspapers or other to see if there was any report/notices on his death.
On the 1861 census Joseph was living on Front Street With his wife Sarah and 2 grandsons.
I am also interested in any books/pictures on Brampton that maybe available.
Many thanks for any help
