The oldest Church in Belper is St. Johns, very few graves have survived and I cannot
see any Boot in the M.I's.

Belper Cemetery - be warned Amber Valley Council will no longer let
the staff at the Cemetery assist you with your search
in this large Cemetery. You need to contact the
Council with details of who you know is in the Cemetery
they then produce you a map of how to find the grave.
for the sum of £30 all this prior to your visit.
Burials also took place in Duffield Church, again few stones have survived.
There are of course independent churches with some stones surviving.
The row of stone cottages North Terrace, Chesterfield Road, Belper are all
still there and just as they were built.
Fri, Sat & Sunday - Belper North Mill is open from 1pm to 5pm so you can
see the history of the Cotton Industry where some of your ancestors worked.
