If you can't find Tommy Nevins at Bishop Auckland, give Crook Town a go. They were a Durham team who were amateur champions at the turn of the century, and later became semi professional.

Try the National Football Museum at Preston.  They have details of most footballers who played in the league and for a small donation will often be able to provide details of their careers including photographs.
