Hello Steve,

The villas are not holiday homes as far as I know. They have a good view over the marina in Bangor, facing Eastwards towards the South West coast of Scotland.

Hopefully, for one who is not too computer literate, I will be able to send you a photo tomorrow.

Hi Steve,

If there are any Bangor properties listed in C. E. B. Brett's "Buildings of North Co Down" which was published by the Ulster Architectural Heritage Society in 2002 you might get a clue about the builders of the Princetown Road properties.

Rita Harkin of the Ulster Architectural Heritage Society might possibly know of someone who could assist.

The two properties are still lived in by families. I think that they were built about 1892 but I do not know by whom.

There is a very brief mention of them in "Bangor - An Historical Gazetteer" [1999] and "Historic Buildings, Groups of Buildings, Areas of Architectural Importance"[1984]  both by Marcus Patton of the Ulster Architectural Heritage Society.
