Well done Val, you've got my characteristic belly very well !  :P (Looking at the picture it looks like Julian was contemplating resting his cup on there)

I bet you were talking about the world and it's problems ::) ::) ::)

Did anyone have a mike  ;D

Hi,

I'm not clever enough to put my piccies on, so will send them to Goose, he can do it for me  ;D

I just want to say I had a brilliant time at the meet. Great to have met everyone, faces to names.

Thanks to Julian for organising it, and to Gadget for the idea.

The Tartan Army never kept me awake either !!

After having kept that weekend free for months I am so disappointed to have missed the meet through some health problems.  Glad to hear it went well and you all had a great time (that means there might be another one in the future and hopefully I'll  make that one)

I like the pair of photos - that's good :)

(So many posts since I wrote that - I meant the group photo with the gravestones underneath - raised a good laugh - great pictures).
I am researching the following families:
Hurst / Payne - Leicestershire / Warwickshire / Worcestershire
Toon(e) - Leicestershire
Batchelor / Foster - Warwickshire / Northamptonshire
Hardy - Dorset

My web site has the family tree showing.  I am researching primarily the Payne, Hurst, Foster and Batchelor lines in the Midlands.

Barry

I was disturbed at 4am when it suddenly went quiet!  ::) ::)

I had to listen because I wasn't sure I was still where I had been
only 15 minutes earlier!  ::) :'( ::)

Not wanting to be outdone .. .. at 7am the JCB then started to dig up the road about 10 yards away from where I was laid!   :o
