Just a point of interest,

We had a brilliant time at Glasgow, it was a great meeting and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Cameras are ever present at any RootsChat event and photographs are inevitably taken. These photos will quite naturally be posted on here by those who attended, and that is fine. Naturally obscene photographs or unsuitable ones would be unacceptable. RootsChatters who turn up for these events accept that this is the case.

I have to say that I agree with Trystan on this one.  To me, there has been a big over-reaction by some of us to this issue.  Even people who were actively taking photos did not want photos of themselves posted, and this could not have been foreseen; one assumes if people take photos, they are OK with photos being posted.  This is one of a couple of reasons why I am not planning to attend any further Rootschat meets.
