Wow My mum always told me that Glasgow was an ugly place but I can see that it's not    She moved to the US when she was 10 and then the family moved back to Glasgow when she was 16 -17 so I guess being a"teen" to her it was HORRIBLE  losing her friends and stuff. Understandable.

Here's another magnificent building.... Glasgow Royal Infirmary . My Grandmother died here age 32 from TB when my mother was about 6!..

I thought the same as you Mab   but Glasgow really surprised me ... I just want people to know what a fabulous place it is ... an absolute gem!!
