Hi
Seems Im a great great grand daughter of Samuel and Eizabeth as well  through their son Joseph. Having trouble finding a birth for Samuel who married Margaret Deans as he seems to be the connection I need, from what I have found all the Smallwoods in the area of Lower Cumber seem to be related. Anyone with any info on Samuel jn or his brother James would be of great help. If I can help in return please feel free to ask

J

Hi Scotsmum

Just a quick question. Been reading over your earlier posts and just wondered if you had anymore information on Samuel Smallwoods the 1 that married M.A.Deans and later moved to Scotland.

Thanks

J

Goodness, J, however did I miss replying to this. Not much, other than what I posted.

Anyhow,  thought I would bump this thread to see what has been happening in the world of Smallwood/s research of late. Any good finds anyone? Have any of you spotted Isabe/Isobell Bovaird Smallwood/s on your travels.......have been trying to figure out her parents....possibility being William and Mary Eliza, but still working on this...any other ideas welcome?

Scotmum,
Isabella B. Smallwoods married William James Hamilton on 18 Nov 1909 in Holy Trinity Church of Ireland, Lower Cumber, Co. Londonderry. Do not know who parents are but you could try the 1901 census where there is a better possibility, a Bella, parents Joseph Smallwoods and Eliza Simpson.

Browne, Barrett -Co.Armagh
Neil, Smyth _Co. Antrim
