Hi there,
I'm researching an Andrew Drake, from around 1890-1930, from the Killyleagh/Crossgar/Kilmore/Tullykin area of County Down. His son, Henry "Harry" Drake was born in 1917. Harry served with The Irish Guards in the 1930s, but "disappeared after discharge in 1947, until his death was recorded in Glasgow 1960. Harry's burial is being sought by a descendant, who believes it may bee around the Crossgar/Kilmore area, in an unmarked or overgrown grave, but he is struggling to find any record or reason why this information was recorded as it is. Andrew's great grandson, Rob Drake, in The States is seeking any information.
Just as a complete by-the-way, I see one of your ancestral names is Tate, a variation on my name (Tait), I know of connections in Glasgow/Edinburgh/Inverness-shire, wonder if there's a connection - all reivers! Any DNA stat available on your side?
