William Coleman born 1810ish?
« on: Monday 20 December 04 16:05 GMT (UK) »
Hello, I have traced my granddad's decendents back to William Coleman who lived in Long Clawson from at least the 1840's until the date he died. I know he was stated as being 30 in the 1841 census (and 42 in the 1851!) so I'm guessing 1810 as his birth year. He was born "outside the county" supposedly in Grendon, Warks. I think his father may have been called Edward. I'd be grateful for any info forthcoming.

Also where is the best place to look for death records? I am living outside the UK so can't physically get to the parish.

Thank you for that, I'm a bit confused regarding the 4 names listed in the marriage note. William was married to Ann but I don't know her maiden name.
