Dee - Thankyou that would be great if you can

Sue - So much information on those documents, even the ship he emigrated on

Today I also found out that John McNaught Aird who married Mary Godfrey in 1866 had two other wives.

1. Eliza Bowdle married 19/3/1851 died 1860
2. Eliza Mills married 31/10/1861 died 18/10/1864

There are two children.......John Aird 7/4/1852 and John W Aird 19/6/1869

I am wondering if there were any other children as well.

Thanks

There's just the 1852 birth, Gordon, until John marries Mary Godfrey.  As well as John W's birth there are 3 more. Shall I send them with the others tomorrow?

Hi
You two don't know me from a bar of soap.
But I'll blow your minds anyway!
My surname is 'Mundy'.
My mother's maiden name is Garnaut!!!
Her father was John Walter Garnaut and his father was Harry Garnaut.
So if there's something you may want to ask me re the Godfrey's my mother is still alive - she is 77 and her sister is 65.
My grandfather - John Walter Garnaut married Dorothy Mack.
I've been researching the Garnaut side of my family and did a Google search and it came up with your Godfrey conversation.
Please reply?
Deb

Hi Deb, My line is actually the Elfenbein's of Goolwa. Caroline Minna Elfenbein is my Great Aunt. She married Thomas Godfrey 25/12/1881. Although not direct decendants I am still researching all ancestors related no matter how. If you have any info on them I would like to share it with you. The family lines related by marriage also include Harry Garnaut married to Clara Godfrey 4/10/1905.
