James Campbell - Margaret Parker (or Parkes)

I am looking for some clues as to the origins of James Campbell and his wife Margaret (nee Parker - or possibly Parkes).  They must have been married about 1861 and moved from Ireland to Liverpool sometime between 1871 and 1875.  I have them in the 1881 - 1901 Censuses but their birthplaces are just given as 'Ireland'.  Margaret's mother was Annie Parker (b abt 1811)

They appear to have had 5 children before moving to Liverpool - Ann Jane (b. 1862), Margaret (1865),  Mary (1866), (Isa)Bella (1869), and my GGrandmother Teresa (1861).   They had more children later.

The records are a mixture of extracted (from church records, vital records, etc.) and submitted (added by individuals and often full of errors, so should be viewed with extreme caution).
James Campbell and Margaret Parker/Parkes:
1. Mary born 15 June 1865 Dundalk, Co. Louth
2. Isabella born 23 Nov.1869 Dundalk, Co Louth
3. Teresa born 20 Oct.1871 Dundalk, Co. Louth.
???4. Margaret Elizabeth born 15 June 1867 Annacarriga, Co. Clare
(am suspicious about Margaret Elizabeth belonging to this family because of her birthplace)

Civil registration of births began in 1864 so you will not find Ann Jane's birth in 1861 (if that date is correct). Registration of marriages began in 1845 (Protestant) and 1864 (Catholic).
From the above details it looks as though you should concentrate on Dundalk area.
