Hi Isobel, Elizabeth Yates who married Daniel Connor were my 2nd great grand parents.
Their daughter Jessie married James Mair and they were my great grand parents. If you are interested we have a lot of information about the Connors. Jessie emigrated to the US in 1926 when she was 63 years old. She died in Sommerville Mass. in 1938.
I still live in Paisley. Which sibling is your husband's great grand parent? I would be interested in any information you have.
