Newspaper articles
« on: Tuesday 18 September 07 13:23 BST (UK) »
An ancestor apparently died from his injuries after falling into a furnace of hot water!

My questions are, as it would seem it was reported in a newspaper, how do we go about finding out which one?  Can it be researched on-line or do we have to go to West Bromwich, where he died, to find out.

The details I have are:

Arthur Lambsden died 8 November 1891 in West Bromwich hospital aged 33.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Many thanks

Hello,

try Birmingham Reference Library which we have all the newspapers from that era. Alternatively, the Colindale Collection in London mighthave certain copies if that is nearer to your location.
They have a website which will tell you what is available

Many thanks for your response.  I no longer live in Birmingham but not that far away so will go there first.  In the meantime I will also check out the Colindate website also.

Regards
