same forename and surname

on just browsing through the 1881 census i have come across many William William/s and John John/s etc. do you guys have them in your trees? does it make it more difficult to research or easier? - just wondering.

Not a double name on mine, but what I find tricky is the long run of children given the same name as their fathers ... I've got six generations all with the same name !  Very confusing.

The footballers Gary and Philip Neville, their fathers forename is Neville. I was quite confused the first time I was introduced to him. Parents with a sense of humour.

I've just found two called John Thomas, father & son
At least it makes a change from William, Thomas, William Thomas & Thomas William
