Tavistock lookups if possible

Hi all I am hoping some one knows whether it is possible to access parish records for Tavistock.
I am trying to find the parents and siblings for Edward Vigous/Vigers/Vigures (and any other spellings that seem to abound) So far from the information i have he was baptised in Tavistock Jan 1726, married to Hannah Crossman in 1752 in Whitchurch Devon and died in !782. Hannah died in 1801 in Tavistock.
 I can't seem to locate anything on the family search site and was wondering if i am doing something wrong. The information above was recieved from a relative and i would like to be able to varify it for myself.
If anyone has ideas please feel free to suggest anything except looking in person. Hopefully this information is available online.

When using the family search site have you also tried using the hugh wallis IGI batch numbers

If not - in google - search on 'IGI Batch Devon' - you should find a link to the Hugh Wallis batch numbers. This site lists all the parishes in Devon with the batch numbers for each parish which you click on and then search the family search site by parish.
 I have taken a look for you - but the Tavistock records do look odd - mostly non conformist records - no C of E records - also Whittington is not mentioned at all - as if there are no records.  The IGI is not complete and it looks like the records are not complete for Tavistock or Whittington.

Why not try sending an email to the Devon Records Office to ask if the information is available from them ?
