Also, marriage now looks like John Ormerod to Ellen Haydock, St Mary the Virgin Blackburn Q4 1838

Thanks for all the lookups.

There are many connections between Haydock and Ormerod families, all connected with Salesbury, Wilpshire, Pleckgate, Wilworth.

Can you post the '41 for Stephen Ormorod and Ellen (Haydock) as she is one of my Haydocks!

These families are of particular interest as I was born into Wilworth Crescent, then moved to Pleckgate Road, then to Knowsley Rd (Wilpshire). My sister currently lives in Clayton-le-Dale which is also Salesbury depending on which side of Ribchester Road you live - the road determines which of the two places you live in!!

Agreed, many connections.
My current  interest goes further back, but in more or less the same area. Peter ORMEROD (abt 1611-1689, of Gambleside) married Alice HAYDOCK 2 February 1639/40 at Whalley. Trying to Alice and her ancestors.
