Hi

Do you happen to know where Catherine Hopkins was born or the name of her parents?  I have a Mary Carr, Washington DC, who received  a small inheritance from her Uncle Thomas Hopkins in 1891

Thanks

First complete census for Ireland is 1901. For earlier dates only small fragments for a few areas survive.

That is a shame, the only other information i have is,
Marriages in Castlebar-aglish1841 to 1855.
1851 October 12.
Martin Carr to Catherine Hopkins.
Is there any way of finding out what church they were married in?without a marrage cert.
Thank you.
Beryl.

Civil registration of Catholic marriages began in 1864. What is the source of the information?
