I've managed to find it.....it is above "Ladbrokes" (a corner building) and on the opposite corner is "The Horse with the Red Umbrella" tea/coffee shop.  Look for the yellow cross hatching on the road.

Wow thank you so very much. t is always so great when total strangers help each other with things like this. I will take a look on google maps now and try to take a pic. I will be able to share this with other Genge relations as we seem to all be connected originally Again thank you!

The Rector at Puddletown from 1571 - 1638 was Revd. Thomas Genge (1548-1612), his wife's name was Jane (died 1611). I assume they were the parents of all Genge children born in Puddletown/Piddleton between the years 1573 and 1585. These were Charles b. 1573, John b 1574, Martha b 1575, Mary b 1576, Erasmus b 1577, Alice and Edithe b 1578, Lazarus b 1585.

Genge's was a department store - now long since closed and demolished.  In its day was just the place to take afternoon tea.
