was really Teresa Egan married a Lawless got widowed
and remarried John Johnson

Eddie   i did find teresa nee egan and also she had some children wilthin that marriage. John johnson married Teresa in 1865 my gt grandmother was born  1866 then after the birth of John Patrick in 1867 she died  i found out she was buried at Glasanevin Cemetery i dont know what happened to John patrick only i did find on the Irishgenelogy church records site he had been baptised.  Eddie John Johnson was now a widower again 1867  he lived at 79  Coombe till 1869 listed on the direcory for that year as a spirit dealer and grocer  cant seem to find what happened to him or John Patrick  after  that year .  Ellen went on to marry Richard Bowes.

Eddie on teresa johnson marriage cert her father name was timothy lawless so egan was her first marriage name  so as you said the Egans lived at that address 79 Coombe Dublin

Hi my mam lived at 15 The Coombe until 1952. Her mother moved in that house in 1920.  My Grandmother death cert has her address as 15 Coombe Street.

I too am looking into my Bowes family history. Thank you everyone for all the information I have found out already about my family. I am the great granddaughter of Timothy and Clare (Condron) Bowes (m 17/4/1910) who lived in Golden Lane in 1911. They had a son, Richard who was my grandfather - a painter/decorator who worked for the  Dublin Corporation. I believe he had brothers Patrick and Timothy and a sister Linda. Richard married Margaret (Mills) and they had a daughter Clare, who was my mother and then a further 9 children. My mother moved to England in the 1950's as did two of her brothers and a sister.
 Does anyone know of a Titanic connection with the family? One of my aunts said that her father (Richard) took her to the cinema to see the film some time in the 1950's. He told her that one of his cousins had been on the Titanic. I have looked up the crew/passenger list but can't find a family name I recognize.

My granddad Richard Bowes I believe had a cousin John, of Marks Alley who died in WW1 in August 1915. He was in the Leinster Regiment. He had married a Josephine Brady in 1914 and they had a son, John.

Hi UkBowes I'm the granddaughter of Teresa Gibbons who was ur Gt granddad Timothy s  sister. I never heard anything about my granmothers family regarding the Titanic  but maybe family did happened to be on board that ship very sad if that's true . I have hit a brick wall with some of my family tree search wonder going back to the 1867 onwards did u ever hear anything about a John Johnson x Teresa Johnson nee Lawless as we are descendent from them it's just Teresa died after given birth to a baby boy in fact l got the death notice saying her age was 31 she left I think the baby John Patrick x the little girl Ellen who went on to married Richard Bowes who was the father of ur gt granda .
