Death Henry Young 1901 Rhode Island

Hello,
I would like to have more info on a death record from Rhode Island.
This is what I have, death of Henry Young 16 may 1901 Rhode Island.  His wife was Amelia.  Is there a way to see if this Henry was born in England?  I am looking for Henry Charles Young born England 1830.  He served in the Royal Navy and married his second wife in the 1870's in New Zealand.  Henry is said to have died in 1906 but there is no record of it in England or New Zealand for any of the years around 1906.
Any info is greatly appreciated.
