south africa death certificates
« on: Wednesday 12 September 07 16:23 BST (UK) »
I have a relative, Robert Stewart.  I have the family bible and it says that he died at the Transvall Silver MIne South Africa on the 20 January 1892 age 52.

He was from Glasgow and he had left his family there.

Does anyone know wher i could find his death certificate and find out what happened to him?

Hi
I hope you are still online and still searching for Stewarts.  My Stewart lines are from Ayrshire and Glasgow and in and around Edinburgh.  Do you have the parents names of the Robert that died in SA, I am searching for Stewarts that emigrated there in the latter two decades of the 1800's and some that went early 1900's.
