Hi Jennie,
I have access to some old maps with Bristol/Bedminster streets marked - I can look up any streets you would like & may be able to send a copy. Can you let me know which street names you are seeking?

Steve

Hi
Yes Windmill Hill does still exist.

The quickest way to check for this is something like:

http://www.multimap.com

Just enter Windmill Hill, Bristol where it asks for the Address.
Then you can use old-maps to see if there is any appreciable difference over the years.
Malmesbury- Bishop.
Gloucestershire-Bishop,Hicks,Higgs,Hill,Hooper,Hopkins,Pitcher,Robertson,Stinton,Terret,Woodruff.
Worcestershire-Stinton.
Devon- Borrough or Burrow.
