JANE HOWBRIDGE of Hornsea.
« on: Sunday 09 September 07 12:29 BST (UK) »

Hi all

I need a little help looking for a Jane HOWBRIDGE born in Hornsea circa 1811.

She married THOMAS SWIFT in Scarborough in 1833 and died aged 79 in 1891.

I have found Howbridges in Hornsea on the IGI but no Jane, though I'm sure they must be siblings as all the baps I have found have Henry and Ann as parents and Jane named 2 of her children these names. Obviously I cannot assume without further evidence!

Any help appreciated!

Cheers

Liam

Hi Liam,

I know this is from a while ago.  I've only back into it recently.  There are a group of us looking at the Howbridge line though we haven't been very active the past couple of years.  We link to Henry and Ann through their daughter Sarah.  Have you got more information yet?

Jo

That explains why Liam hasn't been on for a while!! Congrats on the new little one.  ;D

Can you also tale a look at the thread Liam started on the East Yorks Board, looking for Jane Howbridge please, as I've found her.  ;)

Although, after a year, you might also have found her by now!
