I don't mean to sound grumpy  >:(  but this is getting a tad ridiculous  ;D

Mavis, how come you mention names of George F GODWIN's parents though they aren't indexed ... ?

And a marriage certificate to Mary Ann no surname known - what is this???  Year, details??

What are the details of her (their?) alleged child in 1874?

Details of George's marriage to Jane BIDDLE?

What about telling us about all wives/children listed on the death cert of George F GODWIN??  Indeed, what about telling us the full content of the dc of George F GODWIN?

And where did the name Mary Ann COLLIER come from!!!

More info, more info, please  ;D

JAP
PS: We all actually are keen to help!

Hello Mavis...If you are still around I have started doing Mary Ann Collier history... I think she was with Ann Collier Daniels who travelled on Ship with husband and son William 3yrs. I am thinking Mary Ann maybe sister to Ann Daniels...who died at Elsmore..outside of Inverell NSW in 1914.  I  am descendant of Ann Collier Daniels from Elsmore. Await a reply !

Hello Judith..Thank you...Yes this the family I descend from.. I have information down to me.  My cousin Brenda and I found Collier family at Paterson NSW when I traced Ann and James Daniels having Sarah at OLD BANKS PATERSON.  Info was in Newcastle Family History Library in Roman Catholic Baptisms Records.  Mary Ann Collier comes into the family when Ann Daniels moves to Elsmore outside of INVERELL NSW....... I have been asked to follow through as Mary Ann Collier seems to be linked to George F Godwin  ....makes it harder when Ann Daniels has Ellen and Ellen marries Roderick Maclennan.
Ellen was fathered by Godwin.  So Ann has 2 daughters... Sarah and Ellen who are half sisters and marry 2 Maclennan brothers at Elsmore.  I am joining Inverell District Family History this March. I think this group would have information on Collier and Godwin Family from Elsmore.  Ann's daughter Sarah dies in 1891 leaving children.  Boys stayed with Roderick and Ellen family and girls went to Tingha.
Await your reply !! Mary

Hello Judith... I now have all details on our lady Ann Collier Daniels. Husband James broke away and started a marriage with Mary Soper and had a family to her.
Ann Daniels(Elsmore) with daughter Sarah lived with George F Godwin. remember she had to find her own financial means. Ann had Ellen who was named Godwin after her father and family descends down til George marries a lady over Armidale way.
Mary Ann Godwin was known by this name while she was living with George.
So Ann Collier Daniels  (1914)shows up as herself when buried beside her daughter Ellen Godwin  ....Details are on Death Cert.
She was known as Granny Godwin! I am hoping for a good size photo of her to appear somewhere.
Await your reply ! Maclennan!
