from edcasey. i wonder if you can tell me how i can find out ,where in monaghan, my great great grandfather resided in monaghan. his name was James Casey, he is described as 1 horse breaker 2 stone mason,  his wifes maiden name was Rose Brady, his children where James : Hugh :Jane: there could be more children. they where born between 1817 and 1826. in ireland,  Glasgow poor law just states monaghan.  i have some info after his family arrived in Glasgow circa 1845. in a marriage certificate it states his son born in Carrick..........  but it is very faint and difficult to read could it be Carrickmacross?  i would appreciate any help .... edcasey
