Brisbane Mini Meet - We Did It .. . and it was great.

My mum hates driving to Brisbane so we used to always stop at Goodna train station, leave the car, and get a train from Goodna into town.  You could get off at Southbank.  But is Goodna before or after the Ipswitch motorway?  I forget lol.

I am glad you are feeling better, and I am really looking forward to all of this.

Barring all medical emergencies I'll be there.   

I hope not to get into another scrape like I did last weekend at the Riverfire at Southbank - came from the train station down the hill, saw my shoelace was undone, bent over to do up, and dislocated my hip ..... a rather painful start to the evening's activities.   So I missed everything (I'd only arrived 5 minutes before) - no fireworks, no jets,  nothing except the inside of the RBH Emergency and X-Ray Departments for about 7 hours !!!     So now I'm home, resting, being very careful, and making sure I don't do that again.....   

I'm well enough now if I'm careful, but I should be a lot better for 7 October.   

Hope everyone else is in better health than I am .......

The F11 came sooooooooooo low over my place the pilot waved to me . .. .  .       Honestly, if he'd been six inches lower he would have been UNDER the tree line rather than above it!!!

Good to have you on board Anita .. . sorry about missing you out Jenny, one way or another we'll get you there.

I'm a "maybe" otherwise I would be instantly offering to meet MarieC & Jenny  do the trip into town. I may know closer to the event but currently have "issues" (Don't we all!)

Meanwhile - my carpark instructions - drive over the Grey street bridge & turn left - assume you are travelling FROM the north. If  anyone coming from the south side (I think Barbara lives on the Southside)  followed those instructions you would end up at the XXXX Brewery, which could be an alternate meeting place
